I am SO Ready for Fall

I'm tired of plain t-shirts, cropped pants, flip flop sandals, and skating without tights and kneesocks! This happens to me every year in September, which is how I know I belong where there is a real (cold, snowy) winter!

I'm ready for sweaters, tights, boots, knee socks, and even jeans......

I feel so much better skating in tights and knee socks.... Skirt Sports has new merchandise, including a very cute Gym Girl with a racing stripe (get to their site under Derby Links). I may also have to take a look at Sock Dreams. I think roller derby is inherently a cooler weather sport, and so I'm ready!

As for the rest of my life: I think I found a pair of jeans that really fit and flatter this week, and it's time to get past t-shirts! I know I'm over summer when I get really excited about wearing Danskos.

Oh, and boots....how many pairs of boots are too many? There are high and low heels, brown and black, boots for pants, boots for skirts, etc.....I think, even there, I am ready! (This is a long standing question: note the white "go-go" boots in the photo!)

So fall, come on!

(I should also have said that I love fires in the fireplace when the air is crisp and playing in the leaf piles with G and A - it's not really all about the clothes!)

Doll - I am SOOOOOOO ready to pull out the kneesocks. Skating during the summer months just isn't the same. I think they give me super rollergirl powers for sure!!

I had white go go boots like those ... in college. I miss them. Oohh, zappos.com is calling!
